Semi-CUSTOM STATIONERY
Semi-custom wedding invitations are pre-designed suites that can be personalized for your big day. My current collection includes 5 suites, each shown in two colorways. You can customize your color palette, add on all of the fun embellishments, and make it your own — all at a much lower price point than fully custom invitations. This is a great option for clients with a tighter budget and/or a tighter timeline.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
First, determine if you need a 3-piece suite or a 4-piece suite. Are you fielding RSVPs from guests via your website, or do you prefer a traditional response card that guests can mail back to you? If you’re using a wedding website for your RSVPs, you will likely need a 3-piece suite. If you are requiring guests to return the RSVP card by mail, opt for a 4-piece! This includes the response envelope that your guests will mail back to you.
Next, pick your suite! I have the Holly, the Laurel, the Willow, the Juniper, and the Aspen. Each are shown in two colorways, but all of them are customizable. Make sure you check out the available upgrades and embellishments, as well as my color guide!
When you’ve determined which upgrades you’re interested in, you can submit the form online, and you’ll receive a custom proposal from Freja Creative. This will include pricing for your selected suite based on your quantity requested, as well as pricing information for your selected embellishments. You’ll get to select the upgrades you’d like to move forward with, and we’ll jump right in to proofs!
You’ll receive digital proofs of your suite, and will be required to review each piece and approve for production. Yay! When your pieces are completed, you’ll receive them by mail. Time for an assembly party! And then they’re off to your guests!
HOW much does it cost?
Semi-custom suites are much more cost-effective than fully custom invitations. Pricing is dependent on the suite, but ranges from $585-$1905, depending on quantity and suite selection. For reference, Freja Creative custom invitation clients typically spend $2000-$4500.
What if i like the design, but not the colors shown?
Good news — colors are customizable! Select the envelope color you’re looking for, and the other colors in your wedding palette. Not sure what your “wedding colors” are, or what to select? You can set up a color consultation with me and have access to my full swatchbook of over 200 colors! I’ll help you build the perfect palette.
CAN I CHANGE THE FONT(S)?
Technically, no — fonts shown are the fonts included in the suite! But, like most things in this world — it’s negotiable! Let me know if you have a specific question and I’m happy to help!
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY ITEMS?
You have two options. The first is to have items carefully wrapped and shipped to you so you can assemble and mail on your own! The second is an optional upgrade to include assembly services. White glove assembly services include stacking, wrapping, stuffing, stamping, sealing, etc., as well as mailing services! Highly recommended for busy couples — assembly will always take longer than you think! But it’s not necessary or included in the packages.

I loooooove offering cohesive designs for my invitation clients, so the big day is well-branded, the design elements are carried throughout, and guests have an amazing personalized experience. Semi-custom invitation clients will be offered day-of signage and stationery design services with a reduced design fee, making it more affordable and easier than ever to ensure items for the big day (like menus, bar signage, place cards, etc.!) are just as beautiful as the invitations you send out!
